Anna Almquist, the owner of New Day Renewal, hails from the greater Orange County area. As a first-generation Chinese American, she made a profound decision at an early age to contribute significantly to her community and country by joining the United States Army straight out of High School. Serving as an Army Medic during her enlistment, Anna experienced the honor of providing care to those in their most vulnerable states.
Post-service, Anna was driven by the desire to make a positive impact on her community and assist people during their greatest times of need, particularly after unexpected deaths, crimes, suicides, traumatic events, or natural disasters that left behind dangerous biohazard and contaminant situations. Anna held senior positions with software consulting companies and a large surveillance/MDU company before leveraging her expertise and background to aid people during their most challenging moments.
After extensive research, Anna realized that there is no greater calling than to be in the service of others and offer a compassionate guiding hand in times of need. As a small, minority, female, and veteran business owner, Anna considers it a privilege to closely collaborate with families, first responders, human services personnel, and businesses, providing a start-to-finish approach to clean up and recover after traumatic events.
